My plan is to install it on the Raspberry PI Zero W

Let’s start with installing much needed tools

sudo apt install git curl wget screen

GOlang and compiling Hercules

Then we edit our .profile

Get Hercules

go get gitlab.com/semkodev/hercules

or

cd ~/go/src/gitlab.com/semkodev/
git clone https://gitlab.com/semkodev/hercules.git
cd ~/go/src/github.com/pkg
git clone https://github.com/pkg/errors.git
go build -v -o ~/build/hercules ./go/src/gitlab.com/semkodev/hercules/hercules.go

Build Hercules

Create the folders

mkdir -p tools/hercules/data

mkdir -p tools/hercules/snapshots

get snapshot from here:

http://field.deviota.com:8088/

Run it

screen -S hercules

cd build

./hercules –light –node.neighbors=”iota.antonionardella.eu:14600″ –database.path=”/home/pi/tools/hercules/data” –snapshots.path=”/home/pi/tools/hercules/snapshots” –snapshots.loadFile=”/home/pi/tools/hercules/snapshots/1529514021.snap” –api.host=”127.0.0.1″ –node.port=14600

Install nelson

screen -S nelson

LTS NodeJS

wget -O - https://raw.githubusercontent.com/sdesalas/node-pi-zero/master/install-node-v.lts.sh | bash
